It is fascinating. Seems people assume that the books in the box are freebies.
NO they aren't.
They cost me to write. Time and tears. Why should they be freebies?

Through the eyes of the book...

"The stories are riveting...the humour especially enjoyable,"...Mslexia
“…terrific stuff: wide-ranging, interesting and very well-written.” … Adele Geras

"leaves one staring at the page at the sheer pathos Gebbie can create... there is nothing so saccharine as a 'love conquers all' message here …but a sense that hope can be found amongst fragility and discouragement."...Stuck in a Book

Hi Vanessa
A common problem and REALLY one's nearest and dearest should know better, but don't. It's maddening.
Just dropped by to say your book arrived to me this morning. God, Salt are efficient! (I'm in Ireland and it took a matter of days.) It is beautiful and I am looking forward to reading it. (Lovely green end-papers - luxurious!) Best of best of luck with the book, and please people, BUY IT! don't try to cadge it. It's years of work (I presume) and it is her livelihood! Rant over.
